Rap was in it's prime in the 90's because of all of the huge rappers such as Tupac, Biggie, Nas, Jay-Z, and many others.
There, as well was a rivalry between the East Coast and West Coast,
which could've been the reason for the murders of Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G.
