Why You Shouldn't Cheat
When you cheat you may think it only benefits you, and hurts nobody, but this is not necessarily true. Disregarding
the fact that your cheating may cause the other student to get in trouble for cheating as well, it also gives you
an unfair advantage. When your peer studies for 6 hours over the course of a week for a test it is not fair for you
to get all that work for free while you sat at home doing nothing. Cheating in highschool, and middleschool may
also create poor study habits that will affect you in college. For example if a student cheats off their friends
all of college, and gets into a prestigous school like Harvard he is more likely to drop out, and not get a
degree rather than just going to a slightly worse school he may have preformed well at. These reasons, and more
are why you should not cheat in school.
